Abstract

This thesis deals with problems of analysis of risk sources in the heat treatment process. The introductory part deals with the description of thermal and chemical - heat treatment of steel and its influence on its properties. In this section follows a description of a particular process of heat treatment used in the car industry. The third part deals with analysis of risk sources and methods selected for our chosen business. The conclusion evaluates the results of selected analytical methods: "What happens if ...", modified HAZOP and the combination of probabilistic risk index with a point method.
