Abstract
The subject of the thesis is the assessment of investment in construction of a benzol washing machine at OKK Koksovny a.s. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with ecology, strategic management and investment decisions. Investment action was carried out in order to protect the environment and the practical part assessed if the investment brought also a positive economic effect.
