Mikroregion Opavsko-Severozápad a jeho rozvoj

Abstract

Main tasks of this thesis are interpretation and evaluation of economic and social situation in Microregion Opavsko – Northwest and analysis of major problems associated with this region and its future development. Thesis offers own solution how to solve these problems. Microregion is one of the methods of association of municipalities due to municipalities want reach the same target. Microregion Opavsko-Northwest was established at 2001. Main problems associated with this region are rate of unemployment, low absorption capacity and untapped tourism potential.
