Abstract

This work dealt with a light research of the used solar tracking systems, design of a device for single-axis solar tracking system and the evaluation of the single-axis system. The research found that this area is already being researched, however there is a need to further research in this area. The device consists of several hardware blocks that are interconnected on a single PCB board with two plug-in modules. Developed device in this work not only appropriately tracks the to maximize its performance, but it also records all the measure values on an SD card for later review. The evaluation of the suitability of the solar tracking system is therefore based on these values and the evaluation was carried out in three areas. In the area of electronics, in the field of ecology, and finally a light environmental assessment was carried out.
