Abstract

Bachelor's thesis describes the procedures in the production of coke in ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. Depicts the various stages of training load to the production of coke. Using the data obtained are set out criteria for assessing the quality of blast furnace coke it to be able to enjoy in the blast furnace for iron production. The other parts are by-products of coking and coke oven gas treatment process and its subsequent use in the agglomeration. Followed by an introduction to new technologies in the production of coke. The final part evaluation of the informations.
