Abstract
The thesis is focused on the reduction Cr2O3 issue from slag to metal by milled anthracite and milled ferrosilicon during the production of stainless steel. In theoretical section is brief description of stainless steel making process in electric arc furnace and electric induction furnace, reducing agents, slag foamability, effect of temperature and basicity. In the experimental section were performed two smelts in company Vítkovice Heavy Machinery a.s., which were evaluated in this thesis.
