Abstract
This thesis treats of an analysis of short term travel insurance of five selected insurance companies in the Czech insurance market. Among the selected insurance companies are the Czech Insurance Company, Kooperativa Insurance Company, Allianz Insurance Company, CSOB Insurance Company and Generali Insurance Company. It explains the concepts related to insurance, system of insurance, travel insurance. Further explaining the importance of arranging a travel insurance and it analyses the offers of selected insurance companies including offered insurance. The subject of my thesis is also a price comparison of offers for a fictitious client and a comprehensive final analysis in which is used the method SILAKI.
