Abstract

The presented diploma thesis deals with the issues of ensuring occupational health and safety (OSH) within the specific activity of inspecting lifting equipment. The thesis focuses on the classification and technical description of various types of lifting equipment. The legislative framework and the operator's obligations are analyzed in detail, with special emphasis on the development of a safe work system and compliance with inspection and testing deadlines. Furthermore, the thesis addresses risk analysis and the identification of hazardous situations that arise during the operation of lifting equipment and during the execution of inspection activities. Based on the performed analyses, the aim of the work is to propose measures to minimize operational risks and increase the level of safety for persons participating in the inspection processes.
