Abstract

The aim of the thesis is optimal adjustment of screwing process so that quantity of nonconforming parts is reduced. A statistical method design of experiments is used for this purpose. The first part describes design of experiment and all about screwing process – material, equipment, process itself and possible methods of screwing in theoretical way. Next part consists of analysis of chosen factors which have an impact on process output. The last part is about design of improvement and evaluation of its efficiency.
