Získávání koncentrátů india z rud a odpadních produktů

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the processing of zinc ores in order to obtain concentrates of indium, but also zinc and other major and minor elements present. The thesis focuses on the recovery of metal concentrates using magnetic separation as a promising and environmentally benign separation technology, combined with sieve analysis and XRF control analytical methods for the separation of indium from sphalerite and other secondary materials. The theoretical part of the work summarizes the relative knowledge of indium, sphalerites, sulfides and the principle of operation of magnetic separation. It also discusses the magnetic field and methods of dry and wet magnetic separation. The practical part describes experimental procedures for the separation of indium from ores and waste products. Samples of sphalerite from Kutná Hora, provided by Ing. František Pticen from the Czech Geological Service.
