Abstract
The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to describe free-space optical technology and analyze the impact of atmospheric turbulence and attenuation on the quality of FSO links operating at various wavelengths. An experimental testbed and a simulation model in the OptiSystem environment were implemented. The experimental results provide a comprehensive overview of how various atmospheric and physical factors affect optical beam propagation depending on the wavelength and bitrate.
