Předzpracování, indexace a vyhledávání v rozsáhle kolekci obrazových dat

Abstract

This master thesis is dealing with searching of image data, focusing on pictures of commemorative and circulating coins or medals. First of all, the current state of the art and possibilities of the images preprocessing are described. In a later part is attention focus on specific application of image processing. Problems with detection coin in picture and standardization rotation of coins are solved. Next step is separation of coin to segments and extraction values for storing in database. There is debate about possibility of definition and use of significant segments on coins. The next part deals with database systems. These are comparing by criteria of speed and it is chosen the best one for searching purpose. The closing part is focused on implementation of information system of coins library. Success of suggest solution was tested in test collection which is contain more than 100,000 pictures of coins.
