Abstract

Initial section of this bachelors work analyses development of statistic of drowned people from enumeration of cauzuistic cases of drowning causes. In the following part, there is description of different types of surface waters with their dangers, situations in which is danger of falling into water,the very concept of drawning, parts of rescue service intervening in the event connected with the rescue of persons in aquatic enviroment,lifeguard with his duties, selectedd categories of youth with characteric. The next section outlines the prevention of accidents, in first is a general and subsequently focuses on school classes at various activities. Even with prevention efforts, accidents still happens and therefore in next part of this work I suggest rescue procedure of drowning person, whether with the barriers preventing the provision of first aid, as well as defined to a selected category of youth. A final section deals with the evaluation of the current teaching of the issue, supplemented by a questionnaire survey and suggestion for improvement of teaching.
