Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with economical comparison of coke expedition with combined transport systems Abroll Container System (ACTS) andInnofreight. In the first part there is introduced company for which is the thesis done and theoretical knowledge about combined transport is stated. Then technical parameters of ACTS and Innofreight systems are listed. The practical part is focused on a comparison of these two systems using a SWOT analysis. Detailed calculations of the economic costs of a case study are done. Conclusion contains evaluation of the results and recommendations for the use of intermodal transport for coke expedition.
