Abstract
This Bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a PLC program for the control of a production line with the possibility of detecting emergency and fault conditions. The entire production line available was already assembled, and it was only necessary to get familiar with all its parts. To control the entire task, an industrial PLC Simatic S7-1200 is used, supplemented by
the corresponding I/O interface in the form of Simatic ET. The entire line can be controlled via the
HMI panel, where the user can then see the detected emergency conditions that may occur. The
PLC communicates with the ET and the HMI panel using Profinet and forms a closed network, to which a computer is also connected. From this computer, a program can be uploaded to the PLC, and through it, the PLC was programmed. The line is controlled by various motors, pneumatics and sensors described below, which provide the program with all the feedback needed to control the line.
