Činnost jednotek požární ochrany při likvidaci následků živelních pohrom – větrných smrští

Abstract

Abstrakt: This diploma work deals with the activity of fire protection units during the liquidation of natural disasters – windstorms. It contains a detailed characterization of wind phenomena in the Czech republic, statistical information about the occurrence of hurricanes, windstorms, and the frequency of the actions of fire protection units in the events which have the character of natural disasters – windstorms. The work also deals with the rules of chainsaw work, including the woodcutting technique and the dangers in actions. It also describes the Police of the Czech republic and it analyses the state of equipment and knowledge from the action. In conclusion there are suggestions how to improve the present situation.
