Abstract
The bachelor thesis concerns the characteristic materials that are used for the production of brake discs. These materials for brake discs include gray cast iron and composite materials. The mechanical properties and uses of these materials are described. This bachelor thesis deals with material analyzes of a common cast iron brake disc.
