Abstract

The thesis is focused on the assessment of the financial situation of the company PIKANT Ostrava, s.r.o. It uses steady-state methods of financial analysis tools, whose outputs can be the starting point that serves for financial management, or determining the value of firm for external candidates as business partners, banks and investors.The thesis explains the nature and prime concepts of financial analysis, describes methods and tehcniques used by this one. In The subsequent section is a described characteristic of the company PIKANT Ostrava, s.r.o. Is followed with prosessing of data in the financial statements of the Company from 2007 to 2011. The conclusion of thesis is dedicated to an assessment of financial situation of the company.
