Abstract

The theme of my diploma thesis is „Settlement of flat in the common property of spouses“. My work contains of three chapters. First of them is called „Common property of spouses“, second capitol is focused on „Flat and housing in common property of spouses“ and third part, practical one deals with „ Settlement of flat in the common property of spouses“. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the possibilities of settlement of flat being acquired by spouses as well as financial settlement.

To evaluate this thesis and find the results I use the method of analysis, by which I´m analyzing the divorce process and the settlement of property not only in case of divorce itself, but also in case of a death of a one spouse or in case of constriction of the joint property because of possible properties burden by one spouse. In my opinion, the aim of this thesis was achieved as I analyzed the particular possibilities of settlement of flat as well as financial settlement.
