Současnost a perspektivy využití nízkopotenciální geotermální energie v Evropské unii

Abstract

Master's Thesis theme is evaluation of actual and future situation of low-temperature geothermal energy in the European Union. The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive overview not only for the geothermal energy topic but also in the whole renewable energy area in the EU. First two chapters of this work are theoretically focused on acquaintance with the geothermal energy topic and renewable energy resources overall, current status of usage and valid legislation. Present situation of low-temperature geothermal energy alongside with practical part of survey evaluation is contained in the third chapter. Next chapter is dedicated to assessment of geothermal and renewable energy resources in the context of the EU.
