Abstract

Performance evaluation of company is a key area not only for the company itself but also for a number of other users. The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the company and to reveal its weaknesses. After identifying areas where the company is not achieving satisfying results, recommendations are proposed to ensure better performance. Thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with description of methods which are applied to the practical part of the specific company. The description of the company is also part of the practical part of the thesis. The company is evaluated by several factors, such as profitability, solvency, liquidity and stability. Also bankruptcy and creditworthiness models are used. Lastly an intercompany comparison is made by using spider analysis, where the company is compared to the results achieved within the industry.
