Abstract

The main topic of this diploma thesis is Human Resource management in selected companies in relation to employment policy. The aim will be to find out how selected companies cooperate with the employment office, how the services and programmes of the employment office contribute to the functioning of companies and to propose possible recommendations and improvements to the functioning of the connection of companies with the employment office. This thesis will be divided into two parts. The first theoretical part will describe what human resource management is, the stages of human resource management and their individual development, human resource strategy, personnel activities and employee motivation. The second practical part will be devoted to the description, analysis and recommendations regarding the state of connection of personnel departments of companies with the employment office.
