Abstract

This thesis describes the strategic analysis of the external surroundings of firms operating in the food industry. The theoretical part will focus on explaining the nature and significance of the strategy process of its creation and on the theoretical definition of strategic analysis. The work will be used Porter's five forces model, the method PESTLE. In the practical part will be analysed external environment of the food company. Based on the results of strategic analysis will be made to identify possible threats and opportunities arising from competitors and general surroundings.
