Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with fiscal management of the National Theatre in the year 2006 – 2011. The main goal of the thesis is to find out if a self-sufficiency of the National Theatre raises or not in the determined period. The theoretical part describes a public sector, than focus on culture and on funding of theatres. The practical part contains description of fiscal management (income and expenses summary, evaluation of financial situation and the self-sufficiency rate index) for each year. Data are summarized, compared and evaluated.
