Vývoj elektroniky pro balancování vyřazených bateriových článků

Abstract

The objective of this master’s thesis is the design, implementation, and experimental verification of an electronic balancer for retired lithium-ion cells. Based on a review of existing approaches and specific requirements, an appropriate concept was selected. The main goal was to design a modular device utilizing passive balancing with dissipation of excess electrical energy as heat. The proposed solution was implemented using custom-designed printed circuit boards assembled manually. The functionality of the system was verified through experimental testing on a laboratory battery setup. The results confirmed the proper operation of the designed solution, with its main advantages being a high balancing current (with respect to the chosen balancing method), an open architecture, a high level of safety and modularity enabling easy integration and control via a CAN bus.
