Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of methodologies and determined total heat losses (outputs) before and after insulation according to the standards ČSN 06 0210 and ČSN EN 12831-1. The standard ČSN 06 0210 has been invalid since 2008, however, due to its simplicity, it is still used for indicative calculations today. The standard ČSN EN 12831-1 has been valid since 2018 and is an updated version of the European standard ČSN EN 12831. The theoretical part is devoted to the description and explanation of the thermal properties of structures. The theory of heat transfer is also described with direct regard to the heat losses of buildings. The last chapter is devoted to materials and methods of building insulation. The experimental part includes a description of the experimental building and a model room. The individual methodologies for calculating heat losses according to both standards are also described, including determining the total heat loss (output) of the model room. The following is a proposal for building insulation and a description of changes in the calculation of heat losses after insulation. The conclusion is a detailed comparison of calculation methodologies according to both standards and the determined total heat losses (outputs) of parts of the building being solved. The work also includes verification of determined heat losses.
