Abstract
The thesis deals with position analysis of shopping centres in the Czech market. The research included not only selected shopping centers in Ostrava - Forum Nova Karolina, Avion Shopping Park, Futurum, Galerie Třebovice - but it was expanded to two new shopping centers, Shopping centre Gečko Ostrava and Outlet Arena Moravia. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate their position in the market and outline appropriate recommendations for improving perception of these centers from their visitors perspective.
The thesis contains description of shopping centres theory, characteristics of retail ambience in the Czech Republic, my plan and research realization.
The data was collected through written questionnaires. Research results and appropriate recommendations are included.
