Abstract

Deposits of sand and gravel mined by the organization Glarea - Lubomir Kruncl the municipality in the district of Litomerice - Travcice about 3.5 km east of Terezin are running out of resources and therefore there is a need to ensure the company more opportunities to mine resources. As the best possibility, it was decided by the leadership of the company to start mining deposits of sand and gravel in the mining area of Nucnicky I. Main goal of this thesis is to design the study based on the results of the geological survey and the reserve deposit, including method of initiation and subsequent mining work, with an inventory of commercial mineral and determine the most appropriate method of remediation and rejuvenation of the land affected by mining works to minimize the adverse effects of mining activities in the part of particular bearing.
