Abstract
The aim of this work is to evaluate and describe the financial situation of the POPP Ltd. for the period 2005 to 2009. The theoretical part deals with methods and financial analysis, especially horizontal and vertical analysis and ratio indicators. In the practical part is briefly introduced the company and subsequently is made financial analysis. Firstly, an analysis of ratio is made and then the horizontal and vertical analysis. Conclusion of this work includes a summary and evaluation of the financial situation of the company during the period under consideration. This chapter also includes suggestions and recommendations for effective economy of the company.
