Abstract
The topic of this diploma thesis is dealing with short-circuit ratio in industrial building. The theoretical part focuses on the description of short-circuit phenomena, the short-circuit calculation methods according to the ČSN EN 60909 regulation and a brief description of the problem of power supply in industrial building. The practical part deals with the calculation of the maximum and minimum short-circuit ratio at VN distribution points with regard to a given industrial buildingt and a subsequent check of VN cables for the permissible short-circuit temperature rise.
