Databáze brownfieldů v městě Havířov a okolí

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of brownfields in the city of Havířov and surrounding areas. The first theoretical part deals with the character of Havířov, categorization, its formation and the issue of brownfields and also with COBRAMAN project. In the practical part I focused especially on extending the database of brownfields in the COBRAMAN project where I added information about Havířov brownfields in English. The project is focused on redevelopment of objects and the primary purpose is to create a job position of Brownfield Manager and a master study programme, which would be mainly concerned with brownfield redevelopment. The output of the diploma thesis is an interactive map and a database for the city of Havířov. The research lasted from autumn 2017 to spring 2018. There are 11 objects in the city’s area, which mostly have a social character, but there are also agricultural, railway and even mining objects. The interactive map is a part of the diploma thesis, its purpose is improvement of knowledge of brownfields in the city, localization and categorization in the database.
