Požární bezpečnost nákladních železničních vozidel

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is focusing on the issue of fire safety in the context of rail freight transport. The work analyzes the risk factors associated with transporting of flammable materials and the specific design of vehicles, focusing on the identification of risk types of freight vehicles and the assessment of potential technical defects that may serve as sources of fire. The aim is to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the fire risk resulting from operation of those vehicles, with an emphasis on technical aspects and design features, while excluding the human factor from the assessment. The thesis offers a theoretical foundation that can serve as a basis for further research as well as practical applications in risk management and improving safety in rail transport.
