Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of teamwork. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current level of team cooperation in the selected company in order to formulate suggestions and recommendations that should contribute to the improvement of teamwork and the functioning of the selected team. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part defines the thesis methodology and research methods, including the determination of the research questions. Subsequently, human resource management is defined in general. The rest of the thesis is devoted to teams and teamwork, team roles, teamwork techniques, stages of team development, conflicts, and team communication. The practical part describes the selected company and characterizes teamwork in the organization. The practical part also presents the process of data collection, which is then analyzed. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, suggestions and recommendations are made, the possible implementation of which should contribute to the improvement of team functioning and teamwork.
