Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the method of inventory management of packaging material. Based on the findings, a proposal for a new inventory management is established. At the beginning, the company is introduced. The theoretical part follows, where the basic knowledge about the management, classification and importance of packaging stocks is given. In the practical part, the ABC method is used to divide stocks into groups. Based on the determined consumption of individual packages, their insurance stock is designed. For the management of packaging material, an ordering system and a signal level are recommended for issuing an order for an individual type of packaging material.
