Abstract

This thesis deals with analysis of traffic accidents in Ostrava and the subsequent selection and analysis of one of the crossroads. The first part describes the accident rate in general and in terms of its causes, perpetrators, etc. The second part focuses on a specific crossroad, which is described particularly in terms of location, security operation of traffic and accidents. The third section focuses on suggestions for improving the crossroad. The last section is dedicated to both the current state of the crossroad, as proposed, which are then compared this analysis.
