Abstract

The master’s thesis focuses on the design of the Museum of Fish Farming and the new use of a former pond area on the border of the municipalities of Slovany and Kláštor pod Znievom. Its aim is to propose a spatial organization that respects the historical significance of fish farming while enabling functional and publicly accessible use. The proposal includes the museum building, outdoor areas, recreational and educational zones, pedestrian connections to the surrounding landscape, and a concept for the area’s revitalization. The thesis connects the historical identity of the pond area with its contemporary use and offers new opportunities for the local community and visitors.
