Abstract

The connection of culture with ICT makes it possible to create the so-called electronization of culture, which brings a lot of interesting knowledge. Cultural participation of people through ICT helps to streamline and develop the digitization of culture, the opportunity to actively interact with the viewer, but also the opportunity for inspiration and creative activity. The aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate the development and state of electronic culture in EU member states according to selected indicators and using the method of multicriteria decision-making WSA in the period 2015-2019. based on the evaluation of selected indicators of electronic culture by the WSA method. Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands ranked best according to the results achieved, followed by Romania, Bulgaria and Poland.
