Abstract
The main subject of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the customer behavior on the meat product market. The aim of the work is evaluate, analyze the customer behavior of the hypermarket Globus in Ostrava while choosing and buying meat. The partial aims are to find out why the customers of hypermarket Globus buy or don’t buy private made meat in this hypermarket, if they have some knowledge, that hypermarket has its own workroom for making meat products, how often they buy some kinds of meat products and in which hypermarket they make the biggest part of the meat purchase. There was used the quantitative research and a method of personal and written data collection. The instrument of the data collection was the questionnaire. These results of the analysis in this diploma thesis can be used for better understanding of hypermarket customer´s needs while choosing and buying meat products.
