Abstract
This thesis is focused on the issue of bioavailability of selected hazardous metals at the Ema dump, which is located in Ostrava-Karviná district. The monitored hazardous metals were nickel, iron, cobalt, manganese and zinc. The concentration of individual metals in soil samples from the selected area was determined by sequence extraction analysis BCR.
