Abstract

The subject of the thesis is the modeling of time series of radon. The basis for analyzing is the data from the Technical University in Prague Faculty of Nuclear Sciences workers, through long-term measurements in Bozkov dolomite caves. The first part is devoted to the issue of radon, an introduction to the Bozkov Dolomite Caves and description of time series. The second part deals with the Box-Jenkins methodology, which leads to build a model measured data subjected to exploratory analysis. The thesis deals with testing the suitability of the estimated ARIMA model type. In the next part there is presentation of all created models with verification and comparison of their adequacy to the measured data. The overall summary of the work is contained in the conclusion.
