Studium paleontologických a petrografických vzorků z kambrických lokalit barandienské oblasti a jejich využití pro geoturismus

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis was to document selected Cambrian localities from the Barrandien area in terms of the possibility of visiting them and collecting natural materials. As part of this, 8 localities were visited, which belong to the Jinecké and Skryjsko-Týřovice Cambrian. Specifically, the localities were Ostrý vrch, Potůček, Vinice, Vystrkov, Podmokelský mlýn, Skryjský Luh, Pod trním and Pod hruškou. The first part of the diploma thesis is focused on the description of the natural conditions of the selected localities, where I describe the geology, geomorphology, hydrology, climate, flora and fauna. In this section I also describe the history of research into the Cambrian deposits in Barrandien. The second part of the diploma thesis, which is also a practical part, is focused on a detailed description of localities, the collection of local fossils and the possibilities of geotourism.
