Zhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti podniku se zaměřením na jeho finanční stabilitu

Abstract

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the competitiveness and financial analysis of a medium sized company. The theoretical part covers the terminology, findings in the researched field and minute analysis of chosen methods that are applied in the practical part in order to identify the competitiveness of the company and to help with the financial analysis. The practical part is focused on the description of the company followed by identification of its competition via PESTLE analysis and Porter’s five forces analysis. The results of those analyses are united and evaluated in SWOT analysis; finally, the financial analysis is executed. The results have shown that Imperial Hotel Ostrava belongs among four leading and the most sought-after hotels in Ostrava and the differences among the above-mentioned are insignificant. None of the hotels protrudes from the group by offering services or by quality or prices.
