Abstract

In 1992 was by joint-stock company OKD was approved mining with mining komplex with width 6 meters – fullwidth longwall. In 2007 was for joint-stock company OKD started mining modernization of mining machinery – an extensive facilitation project called POP 2010. The object of this project was to modernize the mining and heading machinery in order to optimize mining in the OKD, a.s. The main objective of the project was the purchase of new modern getting and heading machines and using them in operation. Purchase of modern equipment was done on the mine Lazy to increase the efficiency and reliability of operated facilities. This bachelor work describes the used facilities before 2007 and the new machinery purchases on the basis of POP 2010. Among other things describes mining technologies which was used previously – bench mining, longwall overhead, longwall betweenhead, and currently the only mining method – fullwidth longwall. In addition are described the factors influencing the actual mining and the final assessment of the mining results before and after 2007.
