Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the design, simulation, and implementation of control circuit for a specified resonant DC-DC converter. The introduction of the thesis includes a research on the types of resonant converters, explaining their principles, advantages, hard and soft switching methods, and selected waveforms of important quantities. Based on consultation with the thesis supervisor, requirements for the resonant converter are specified. A specific method for controlling the converter is established based on these requirements. To meet this method, a control circuit is designed, and its individual blocks are simulated in a simulation software, with the principle of their function described. A printed circuit board is drawn for the designed control circuit and created, which is then activated and its functionality verified. The results of the control circuit’s function are documented in the form of oscilloscope screenshots.
