Abstract
The subject of this thesis is an assessment of the availability of geriatric care in the individual regions of the Czech Republic. The selected time period is 2015–2024. The main objective of the thesis is, to assess regional differences in the availability of health and social care for the aging population. The thesis analyzes the institutional provision of geriatric care, inpatient capacity, and financial burden based on quantitative data. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the findings from the conducted analyses.
