Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with law and basic principles of the people search in mountainous terrain. It describes a way of communication and organization, also presents methods and technical means used for search missing persons in mountainous terrain. Risks and deficiencies associated with the issue of people search in mountainous terrain are solved by using SWOT analysis.
