Abstract

Execution of waterproofing systems of the substructure in material variants takes up currently a significant place within the building market, however it is necessary to focus on a suitable project design and accurate selection of materials. And, last but not least, on the execution itself, who is doing it, on what level and on its thorough supervision. When designing the substructure, it is always necessary to assess not only all marginal conditions but also the inner environment and set the requirements for the resulting design. The base of the correct design is the correct selection of reliable waterproofing system, which should comply with all requirements for reliability and executable level of demandingness and need minimum time under acceptable financial costs. It is also necessary to take into account maintenance intervention in case of defect, if any. The quality of the final work is always significantly influenced by the design, chosen variant, quality of materials and consistent observance of technological processes by the executing company and thorough supervision.
