Abstract

The aim of diploma thesis focuses on the influence of „U“ notch to estimate fracture toughness at room temperature, the results of penetration testing for materials operated at elevated temperatures in power. The theoretical part deals with the principle and the development of test methods for evaluating mechanical and brittle fracture characteristics of engineering materials at room temperature. The practical part is determined from the experimental results correlation dependence od fracture toughness as a function of parameter elastoplastic fracture mechanicsJ0,2BL, describing stable crack growth 0,2 mm from the design curves and is correlated effective fracture deformation test samples.
