Abstract

This bachelor thesis is dealing especially with the issue of gold mining in the Jesenicky region. The work is aimed not only at the issue of gold mining, but it also includes basic information about gold and its usage. This bachelor work is also aimed at the places and time when and where the gold has been mined within the Czech Republic and also where it can be mined in the future. The thesis also mentions the impact of gold mining on the environment and its economic value.
