Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on developing an application supporting photovoltaic systems assembly from real components with regard to their electric and financial parameters. The first part is focused on explaining general photovoltaic terms and is followed by the characterization of photovoltaic systems themselves. Firstly, the reader is informed about the most important devices necessary for assembling the systems. Then, the particular forms of purchasing electric energy are presented. In conclusion, the characteristic of particular system types is given. The second part is aimed to the description of the developing application. At the beginning, the most important application’s requirements followed by their possible usage are characterized. After studying the requirements, the reader is presented a detailed step-by-step description of the implementation itself. Firstly, the implementing problems are introduced in general, and then followed by the description of the main requirements involved. The part is concluded by the presentation of particular results of the implementation.
